Disability Insurance Plans


We now have a guaranteed issue disability insurance plan.

- Your choice of either $1,500 or $3,000 per month*
- Pays the 1st day after a covered accident
- Only a 7 day elimination period for a covered sickness
- Will pay for up to 6 months
- Guaranteed renewable up to age 70
- Covered worldwide for up to 60 days

*You must be able to verify your income before they will pay your claim. To obtain the $1,500 benefit, you must earn at least $2,250 a month.To obtain the $3,000 benefit, you must earn at least $4,500 a month.

This disability plan has no medical questions. If you have a verifiable income, you can get disability insurance.

You have health insurance for the medical bills. If, heaven forbid, you should die, I would hope that you have some life insurance to take care of your family. But, if you were hurt and could not work, how in the world are you going to pay your bills?

Think about it. How long can you go with no income at all? Would it deplete all your savings? Would you lose your home?

Forgive the emotional appeal but I feel very strongly about disability insurance. Just about everyone needs it but very few actually have it.

The US Housing and Home Finance Agency statistics show that only 3% of home mortgage foreclosures are due to a death of the breadwinner. However, 48% of all foreclosures are do to a disability.

If you are between 35 and 65 years of age, there is a 1 in 8 chance that you will suffer a disability lasting at least 90 days. Those are not the kind of odds you want to bet against.

Don't look for Social Security to bail you out. To get Social Security disability benefits, you have to be completely disabled for at least a year, with no hope of recovery.

This plans have a pre-existing conditions limitation. Pre-existing conditions are not covered until the policy has been in effect for more than 12 months. A pre-existing condition is any condition you have now or had within a 12 month period prior to the effective date of coverage for each covered person. If you have had prior credible coverage, up to 12 months can be substituted and pre-existing conditions may be covered immediately
