Maternity Coverage

Maternity insurance is very difficulty to obtain. Most health insurance carriers have either eliminated maternity riders or make them very expensive. Even when they are available, they are often limited and have waiting periods of a year or more.

However, we have some limited health insurance plans that cover maternity the same way they cover other medical situations. They can be used as standalone health insurance or added to your existing plan. They are NOT maternity plans.

Our other plans pay out fixed amounts for doctors, labs and hospital stays. They can help reduce your out of pocket medical expenses. But, they are not cheap.

Our Maternity Advanatage plan takes a different route. The plan becomes your personal negotiator and works with your doctor and hospital to bring your costs way down.

This plan has received praise from many national sources and in some instances, can make the need for maternity insurance unneccessary.

Homeland - Four Different Plans From $90 to $245 a month

Only available in: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, DE, DC, FL, IL, IN, IA, KT, MD, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM,NC, ND, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV, WI, WY.

The Homeland plan covers doctors, labs and hospital according to a schedule.

But what I like about this plan is that they list c-sections and amniocentesis in their surgical schedule. So, in addition to the daily hospital costs, doctors, etc., they will pay $555.00 towards the surgical fee and $138.75 for anesthesia. Even their lower cost Silver plan ($158 a month) has this benefit.

Be sure to look at the Fusion2 plan. For $97 a month, it is one of the best values.
